The Illusion of Thinking Bigger

Most people believe the key to growth is to think bigger.
But bigger versions of the same thinking only create bigger versions of the same limits.

I was reminded of this in a recent conversation with Dr. Benjamin Hardy. The truth is, when you stretch a goal but keep the same identity, you just build a larger version of your current reality. You grow in size, not in self.

The real shift happens when you stop asking, “What’s the next step?” and start asking, “Who would I have to become to make this real, sooner than I think possible?”

Most people overcomplicate their lives not because they lack talent, but because they lack clarity.
Fear keeps them looping inside old habits, relationships, and routines that belong to a version of them that has already expired.

Complexity is not a sign of ambition. It is a symptom of misalignment.

The path to your next level is almost always simpler than you think. It just requires letting go of the parts of you that were built for survival, not authorship.

When you wrote your 10-Year Letter, or even if you have not yet, the power is not in the paper. It is in the decision to collapse time.
To stop living from memory and start living from imagination.
To stop waiting for the right moment and start acting like the future is now.
